Bio
I was born In Catania, on the Island of Sicily. I grew up In Pedara a little town, at the bottom of Mount Etna.
My first approach to music was at 5 years old when my parents bought me a toy keyboard to play with, I couldn't imagine where that would have taken me. I started studying classical Piano in middle school, I was very unconventional, pissing off the teacher quite often as I wasn't fan of the strict classical approach to music and I tended more to listen and play by ear. My path took a turn when I discovered the band Coldplay, I started listening to their records and live shows and this brought my interest in acoustic guitar, and singing. From there I started exploring the world of recording, I could play multiple instruments but not simultaneously so I found fascinating the possibility of recording and layering them.
At the age of 14 I started playing drums, improving by constantly playing on my favourite records, at this time I had already started recording using Logic. At the age of 15 I recorded my firt EP in my home studio with my band, composing, singing, playing engineering and mixing the record. At 16 I was able to play multiple instruments for recordings, I bought studio monitors and a 8 channel interface so that I could record separate drum stems and have more flexibility in the mix. I started experimenting with what I had, trying to recreate some of my favourite tunes and that brought me big lessons about recording, production, and mixing. I spent most of the time between 15 and 20 trying to replicate tracks of artists such as Radiohead, Coldplay and Pink Floyd.
At the age of 20 I moved to London to further improve as person and musician and specialise in the field of sound recording, mixing and production.
Currently I'm working on my debut EP for my upcoming solo project "Entropy", while being the key player, co-producer and sound engineer for the band "Krokodile". At the same time I enjoy spending my time doing unexpected collaborations and producing music for other people.
